The Yu-Da University Library was established in December of 1999. On June 11, 2002, the new Library Building was opened for use. In the library, there are 5 floors with over 8100 square meters of floor space, providing 810 seats, audio-visual materials, both educational and recreational, are available for use in specially equipped facilities at the Electronic Resources Center. To follow the rapid development of the college, a corresponding rate of growth in the library's collection was required. The library has a collection of more than 205,000 volumes.
The Library is characterized by rich collections, active organizational plans, Electronic facilities, more professional, efficient services and resourceful services. On September of 2003,the branch library of Taipei was founded. These two Institutes are committed to support research, teaching and learning needs of the Yu-Da community. All the members of library wish to help every user in a variety of ways: from the selection, acquisition, and cataloging of materials, providing assistance in using the collection, online services to interlibrary loans. The librarians also wish to assist every user become familiar with the user-friendly environment and discover the wealth of knowledge.
